Audit is used to independently verify how accurate something is to a specification and is usually based on random samples. An assessment is made to verify an outcome and how to bring about changing that outcome. A1 / NVQ Assessment
Most industries now require a verification of employees or contractor competence. In particular, highly regulated industries such as Rail must obtain independent assessment and records of employee competence. Our A1 assessor has certification to assess competence in the workplace and if you need independent assessment of competencies, we can provide a targeted and comprehensive onsite service that provides the following:
- Review of requirements
- Review of processes and procedures
- Pre/Post assessment Interview of candidates
- Detailed assessment of candidates performing tasks
- Produce a report of findings including commentary, recommendations, photographic evidence and issuance of Competency Certificates.

- Method Statements – Are common, working hand in hand with the organisation’s legal obligations of Risk Assessments.
